Teaching You The Parts Of The Chromebook!

Hi Readers!

Welcome back to my blog post! Today I am going to teach you what is the parts of a chromebook!


I learnt this with Miss Morgan, the first thing that I have to tell you is Mass Storage. What Mass Storage do is you could store all kinds of information like filling in a cabinet. But the it is usually slow.

Ram = Random Access: It can run between CPU and the Mass Storage fetching information. It is really fast and remember all things while the lid is open. As soon as you close your chromebook, it will forget everything.


CPU = Central Processing Unit: It's very smart and fast at calculating things. It turns the information into instructions to tell everybody what to do.


GPU = Graphics Processing Unit : It focus on everything you can see and it's also good at calculating.


ROM = Read Only Memory : When the computer is on, it's my job to figure out who should do what and wake them up! I have all the instructions for the basics, like how to turn on the computer. After I have done my job I get to rest.

Writing Term 4!

Welcome back to my blog post about my Writing! But this Writing is a different one. 

We are learning to only write 100 words. I managed to finish my Writing. 

Our goal is:

• Use strong ideas when writing.
• Eliminate unnecessary ideas and words.
• Only include what is powerful, meaningful and important.

Think!

• Do I need to write this sentence?
• Is it going to help my message or just confuse the audience? 

• What is the most powerful sentence to write? 
• Can I add these two sentences together instead of writing two separate sentences?

Here is my Writing!

My shoes were soaked and the rain wouldn’t stop.
A grey car I didn’t recognise pulled up beside me.
The grey car was old and rusty.
The owner was a woman, she was looking at me and her face was exquisite.
She was scary and creepy. 

BEEP! I looked out in the kitchen window, “ It’s Mum and Dad “ I was feeling fragile when we were eating. “ What’s wrong? “ said Mum. “ Nothing, it’s just the blustery weather outside. I kept on thinking of the creepy grey car. Disillusioned with what I needed to do now.

My Spring Holiday!

Swimming!

Hello Readers,

Today I am going to tell you about our Swimming! 


On the first day we went to the Canterbury Swi School before our morning tea break. When we were there I was so excited who's my coach for this Term! 

My coach is...Ruby! I was really excited to swim and learn with her. We were learning to do bubble and breath and backstrokes! I am looking forward to learn more with her.

Turning Fractions To Decimals!

Sup Guys!

Today I am going to post about my Maths for this Term! I you like Maths you could have been answered all of these questions easily!

We are learning to...

...read and interpret a question.

...identify fractions

...change fractions to decimals

add fractions with the same denominator.

For the first week, Miss D put us in partners so we could figure out the questions that she made for us. On Tuesday, we had to make a Google Drawing and make our own questions and ask a friend to answer it. I didn't take a picture of my friend doing my questions but here is my Google Drawing that I made with my own questions.

Today is the last day of Spring Learning Journey an I am so proud of myself because I manage to finish all of the activities!
