Hello Readers,
Today is the new day and this is day 5 and it is activity 1!!!
For this task I have to tell you readers if the New Zealanders would be allowed or not to log in one of the forests and here is my answers.
I think I would allow the New Zealanders to go logging because I think some of the New Zealanders loves to go like hiking and learn some histories there and also maybe exploring the forest, and that's why I would allow them to do logging!
Thank you for reading this blog post and have a great day!
Good morning Celine,
ReplyDeleteDid you read about logging on our SLJ website? If you click the hyperlink, it also takes you to this website that tells you more about the history of logging!
https://teara.govt.nz/en/logging-native-forests/page-1
Logging involves cutting down trees and it usually means cutting down a large amount of trees in order to build things (eg. houses), to make products (eg. paper), and to generate (create) heat and power. The people who do this as a job are called loggers.
I can see that you've mentioned how New Zealanders like to explore the forest - this is correct! However, people like ourselves would not be allowed to cut down excessive amount of trees on a daily basis.
Can you think about this question once again and share your thoughts on whether logging should be allowed in New Zealand or not? Let me know if you have any questions.
Looking forward to hearing back from you Celine,
Susie :)
Hi Susie,
ReplyDeleteI think the $100,000 fine is very big money, your correct maybe half of it will be okay. For those people fishing just for eating, I think 2 kilograms will be enough for a week?
