Welcome back to my awesome blog post! This blog post is a draft!
Today I am going to tell you about the Zones people from Athletics!
How they got to Zones?
We had an Athletics day and we did it on Hornby High School's field. We were in groups like Year 6 boys, Year 6 girls, Year 5 girls, Year 5 boys, Year 4 boys and Year 4 girls. We had a time limit and when that timer goes off, Mrs Scott rings the bell. When she rings the bell we have to rotate and go to the next one.
When the Year 6 girls went to the sprints we had 3 or 4 turns each. I was in the 2nd part ( like your going second ) We waited until the 1st people went. When it was our turn, we got ready and when Miss D said go, I ran as fas as I could! Then when I got to the finish line, Miss Leonard tapped me in the chest so she knows whos 1st, 2nd and 3rd. I was 3rd! I can't believe that I beated some other fast people! But when they announced the Zones people... I didn't make it... But it was alright!
Here are some of the pictures of the Athletics day!
