What Is Happening In Winter Sports?

Today I am going to tell you what's going to happen next week at Winter Sports!

This week our Winter Sports is going to end. It is sad for me because I really enjoy playing with other schools in Hockey. This week, my team, the Hawks, we're going to play Hockey with the Wigram Lakers.( I hope I don't spell their team name wrong😐)

Wellington Trip Day 2!!

Ni Hao everybody!
(Hello)


Today I am going to tell you about day on Wellington, and so sorry for not posting about this trip! If you haven't the previous ones, go check that one first before this one so you'll know what actually happened! But this is journey number 2!!! Let's get started!!!!

When we woke up in the next day, we took a shower and get ready for our next adventure! But before we start, we of course ate some breakfast at Mc Donald's!!! After we finished our breakfast meal, we went started our adventure!

First, we went to the Wellington Museum and in the museum, there were lots of history about New Zealand, the World Wars and also about the Maori culture! It was so fun finding out all the amazing histories of New Zealand and the Maori culture. There were 3 floors that you could go to find more about New Zealand. And one of my favorite parts was a story about the Wars and then there was this girl that was telling us the story and she looks like she was real but then she's not, how awesome is that! 

When we looked at every places we went to the souvenir shop and see what we can buy. We went outside the Wellington Museum because we were going to another place! The place that we were going was a Parliament known as the Beehive! When we got there it really looks like a Beehive! We took a couple of pictures on the Beehive, when we saw the tours, it was fully booked so we couldn't go inside. 


But beside the Beehive there was another parliament. There were so many stairs until the very top! We also took pictures because it's so amazing! Then there was another building but it's not a parliament it's a church! It was a beautiful church and colorful! We took pictures again but we didn't go inside because it's close. 

After that, we went back to the hotel because we were getting tired so we went back home!!!!!!

" Bonus Paragraph "

When we were back at the hotel, our dinner was...... Pizza! The flavor of the pizza that we chose was Pepperoni and Hawaiian!

Wellington Trip Day 1!

Hello everyone!


Today I am going to tell you about Wellington Trip Day 1! If you haven't saw the previous one which is called " Going to Wellington ", make sure to check that out!

On the first day, in the morning we woke up at 8:00 am and we got ready, we ate breakfast and do you know what? My breakfast was so yummy!!!!! When breakfast was done,we went to the Cable Car Lane and when we were inside the Cable Car, We took pictures together and we also went to tunnels and some tunnels has so many beautiful colors. 


When we were on top of the Cable Car, we got out of the Cable Car, first we went to the a mini Cable Car museum and when I first walk in, there was a Cable Car and I got shocked because I thought there a real man inside the Cable Car, but then I realize that it was just a mannequin. We just walked around and beside it, there was a shop that you could buy, well I bought a pin so I could collect it. After we went to the mini museum we went to the Space Place!

On the Space Place, there was a bunch of series that you could watch inside, but in every story, it will have different times. We just waited and we saw a view that was so beautiful so we took pictures there too. After we took a picture of the beautiful view, we watch the Series on the Space Place.

After we went to the Space Place, we went to a shuttle stop and wait for the shuttle, when the shuttle arrived, we went in the shuttle and went to a place called Zealandia. Zealandia is where animals live I guess? We saw some beautiful birds flying around. We took a break in a small cafe, so we had a bowl of chips and me and my little brother had apple juice and our food was so delicious. 

After we ate we went back to the shuttle and the shuttle brought us back to the Cable Car. When we were there, we went back to the Cable Car and the Cable Car now went down, and we again saw the lights and when we were back we went back to our Motel!!!!

Fun Baking

Hello Readers,

Today I am going to tell you what I did on Saturday night with my family. I have baked cheese cupcakes from my Goldilocks recipe book. First, I get my ingredients.

These were my ingredients for the cheese cupcake.

Plain Flour/Cake Flour 

Salt

Baking Powder

Unsalted butter,cubed and softened.

Sugar

Eggs

Vanilla Extract

Water

Grated Cheese

Topping

Grated Cheese

First I combined the Plain Flour because we don't have cake flour so instead I just put the Plain Flour and Cornstarch. I combine the Plain Flour and Cornstarch,Sugar, Salt and Baking Soda. I mixed it up together and set it a side. Then, put Unsalted butter,Eggs,Vanilla Extract and Water. My parents bought me a stand mixer so that it will be easy for me to mix and knead and  beat the ingredients.

After I mixed the ingredients, I put paper cups in the cupcake pan. My Dad help me put altogether the Plain Flour and Cornstarch. I combine the Plain Flour and Cornstarch,Sugar, Salt and Baking Soda altogether to the stand mixer. After my Dad mix all the ingredients, we put the batter to the cupcake pan with the paper cup on it. I put half of the batter in each paper cups, but one of them over floated so my Mum helped me and put another paper cup. After I was done, we still have a little bit more so we had to wait for the first batch. We put it into the oven for 20 minutes. So we put timer in the phone and wait. When the phone has alarmed my Mum had to took it out of the oven because you don't want it to be burn.  

We put more paper cups and put batter to it.

When it got cool down, I told my Dad that it was ready so he took one cupcake and eat it. He said it was yummy and not burned. He ate six cupcake and my little brother ate two cupcakes. My Mum ate one and she said that it was good and yummy. When the other one was done,my Mum took it out.

My Mum and Dad helped me so it was a fun family bonding. I like baking so much, and my next goal is to make more harder cupcake with an icing on it and to get better at it.

If you have not tried to bake tell your parents that you want to try to bake some cake and cupcake. But you have to try the easy ones first, when you have tried the easy ones then you can make harder ones.

Trip to Mt. Hutt

Hello Readers,

Today I am going to tell you about my trip to Mount Hutt. The trip was yesterday,we went with my friend Lhysette and her family.


First we had to wait for Lhysette and her family, when we saw her we follow her because it was our first time going there. So we had to follow the car,it was a two hour drive in the middle of the time, me and my family got a little hungry so we ate some snacks. When we were almost there some of the roads are beautiful and a little scary when you look down. My mum was scared to look down. 


When we got to Mount Hutt, we had to go up the mountain full of snow and ice with the car. We took some photos of the mountains while we are climbing the mountain. When we were at the top of the mountain, there was a car park and we parked our car . Before we left the car I wore gloves,beanie,scarf and a winter jacket. We got out out of the car, while me and Lhysette were wait for our parents we played snowball fight together. When our parents called us and we went to them, my family and Lhysette's family went to the bus so we can go to the top of the mountain.


When the bus stop, we went down to the bus, me ,my brother and Lhysette played with the snow and took some photo. A few minutes later we went inside to sign up for skiing. We don't have a skiing board,so we just play with the snow but before we got in, we borrowed some winter boots. Finally, we got inside and take the cable car so we can go on top of the Mount Hutt. When we reached the top of the mount Hutt, Me, my little brother and Lhysette played with the snow and we took some photos together. After we took some photos in the mountain we went down from the cable car again. After we went of the cable car, we stepped on the a pile of snow in the ground.we walked to the building and gave back the winter boots. After we went to the shop and bought some magnets. After we bought some magnets, we went back outside and took a little more photos before we went to the bus and go to our car. We drive to a picnic place were we will eat our lunch. After that we went home and said goodbye to my friend.

Our Fantasy World

Hello Readers,

Since last term we have been making fantasy world but not just our self we are making it by groups. My group is Lysette,Bianca and Andrew.

 First we have to make our plan then we have to make two more plans for the top view and the side view. After we had finished our top view and the side view, we have to colour it. When we are done with all of the plans, we got started with the world. First   we made the base of the world. Then we made the 14 rock river,dolphins,yellow trees and the ice mountain.

After we made our world,we are not done yet, we have to make a world script. We had to record our world and each of us take turns of talking. When we are done we have to check to the teacher our video and upload it.
