Winter Sports 2021

Welcome back to my Blog! Today I am going to be sharing to you about the Winter Sports that we had! 

Winter Sports is when you choose a Sport between Netball,Hockey,Soccer and Rugby. Then you will be separated into teams in the Sport you chose. After, you'll be playing with other schools. Everything is just for fun! 

This year, I chose Netball because I want to improve on my skills in Netball. This week's Friday, we had a nice play with a team in Hornby High. We had a coach that thought us good tactics. The scores were 6 or 7 - 3. It was amazing because we worked as a team.

25 Days Of Press Ups!

Kia Ora Readers,

Today I'm going to tell you about the challenge that has been going around this year. The challenge is called " 25 Press Up Challenge For 25 Days " 

My Dad's friend nominated him to do the challenge! So he did it! He did 25 Press Ups for 25 Days! He nominated some of our friends and relatives from other countries! 

How it works is: When you got nominated from the challenge, you have to do it then after you do your first day of Press Ups, you will nominate one of your friends or relatives. You do it until you are on Day 25! 

This is for the Mental Health Awareness Foundation.They created this challenge because it's about the suicide in Australia and to encourage positive Mental Health through a Physical activity. The 3,046 press-ups represents the number of te Australian's who died by suicide in 2018.

This is an awesome challenge because it helps you to stay fit and healthy.

Fish and Chips Movie Night!

Ciao everyone!


Last night, me and my family had... Fish and Chips! 


We had Fish and Chips last night and while we were eating Fish and Chips, we watch a movie. My parent very seldom like to eat Fish and Chips but we never bye always. We always have to eat healthy food. 

There was a lot  of chips there in a pack and there was also fish, corn dog and a crab stick. My favourite was the chips and the crab sticks! 

A couple of minutes I had finish my crab stick and my family almost finish the chips but we were all very full so we just kept the leftovers then next time we will finish it.

My Dad also took a photo of me and my brother so take a look at it!😋😋😋

Christmas In New Zealand!!!

Hey Readers,


Today after we ate breakfast and took a shower we went to the Westfield Mall to buy a Christmas Tree, because we don't have a Christmas tree in New Zealand and this was the first time we're celebrating Christmas in New Zealand, and I was super duper excited to decorate it.


We went to K-mart and look for a Christmas Tree and some ornaments for our Christmas Tree. After we had chose our Christmas Tree, we pick out some of the ornaments for the Christmas tree. We got some pretty nice ones, and we even got different kind of size too!


Then we went to look around for more ornaments, and look for some Christmas lights too. Then we went to the check out to pay it but before that my Dad got 2 big Santa Claus and 2 small Santa Plush. And we dressed some of my parents wine with the wine costume. Then my Mum pay our stuff and went home.


When we got home, at night before and after dinner they set up the Christmas Tree and when they were done putting all the ornaments, m Dad took a photo of me in a Christmas Tree. Then they took a rest and I went to bed.

Best day Part 2...

Hey readers,

Yesterday my Mum said to clean our house because my friends are coming at lunchtime, then when I finish cleaning the house I took a shower and got change, me and my family waited for them.

A couple minutes later my Dad text my friends family that why are they not here yet, and they reply back and said that they got a little lost but they are their way.

Then my friends had finally came and first we play in my room then we eat lunch in my room and we watched the "Seven Super Girls". After we eat we went outside and play volleyball. After we play, we went inside because it was getting darker outside but while we re inside we eat dinner and my friends like the food that my Mum cook.

After we eat all us kids play hide and seek then we ate ICE CREAM!!!. Me and my friends took both of the flavour and it was very yummy! Then all of us played hide and seek and it was boys vs girls we play util they go home...

It was so sad that they go home because we were not yet done playing the game so they went home an I took a shower and got into my home clothes and we went to bed.

The Best Day Ever!!!

Hey Readers,


Yesterday, My family went to my friend Jhrnylle's house to celebrate our other friend Lhysette's Dad. We bring brought some food in Jhrnylle's house so when we are hungry, we can eat. When everyone was at Jhrnylle's house we went to their dinning table with lots of food. And we sang happy birthday to Lhysette's Dad and he was so shy that we sang him a happy birthday song. Then we eat the food we want to eat.



After we eat, my friends and I took one watermelon to eat. When we are done eating our healthy fruit, we sang in the karaoke. I was happy because when I was done singing " Marry You " by Bruno Mars, my score was 89, and I also beat my score last time, my score last time was 86. 


And after we sing we went to play in the trampoline. What  we play in the trampoline is we have to jump up and sit 20 times and whoever did the challenge 20 times but she can't stand up, she is out but none of us got out so after the challenge was over, we went inside because it was very windy outside so we just decided to go inside and play in their room.


After an hour we again sang Lhysette's Dad happy birthday but this time there is a cake so after sang him, he blew the candles. 


We told Lhysette's sister to play Nerf gun so how the game work is we went to the playground and there is two or three are with some Nerf, and the others don't have Nerf's, then when they shoot you you have to freeze unless your team touch you but when the all the none taggers are all tag that means that the taggers are the winner.



When we were done playing that we went back to the house and eat dinner. Then we play "Monopoly" while we were playing, my Dad went to the room and said it was already 9:00 pm so that means it was time to go home so I said goodbye and see them at school on Monday, then we went to the car and my Dad said that we will come back in Jhrnylle's birthday.  When we got home I took a shower and went to bed.

Friend's House...

Yesterday me and my Dad went to my friend's house. But before we go, my Mum cook some Spaghetti for us to bring to their house. When we got to our destination, we went inside to their house and I saw my friends in the house, before we play we sing some song in the karaoke. We take turns singing and we have to sing by our self. I sing the song ( Marry You) by Bruno Mars. I ha d beat Lhysette and Jhrnylle's score. My score was 96, so I was so happy. And while I was singing my Dad took me some pictures.

Bonding with my friends...

Hey Readers,


Welcome back to my blog, today I am going to tell you about my bonding with my friends and their families.


In the morning, we went fishing. At first we went near the water, and the water was very big and it made my jogging pants very wet so I just stay at the sun for awhile. Then we play games while our Dads are fishing. We also eat and play "truth or dare game".  We also feed the birds with some bread, then we lay down and take a rest then after we lay down our trip wasn't the end yet! 



We went to my friend's house and go to swimming to their cute pool, while we were swimming the water is freezing cold .While we were having fun at the swimming my family were cooking some food for dinner. My friend's Mum made some popcorn and we ate while we are playing as well. I am so happy spending time with my friends.Then my family came with the food and we ate dinner early so that we can still play.



After awhile, I asked my Mum what they doing and she said that they were ordering pizza and I was so excited and I told to my friends about it. Then the pizza came and we ate, after we ate we play a little more and when my Mum told that it was time to go I was a little upset but we still have fun the whole day. Then we went home and wash face,clean our feet and brush teeth and went to bed.

School Disco

Hey Readers,

Last Friday, we had a Disco Party at the gym. If you pay $1 I will only get a ticket but if i pay $5, I will have a ticket and a goody bag. When school ends I went home and took a shower and change clothes. But if I stay at school for 4:30-5:30 I will have a sausage sizzle but luckily, I didn't go because I will not have much time to get ready for the Disco, when I had took a shower, my dad said that it was 5 pm already, so we got into a hurry and went to the car.


When I reached at my school I saw my friend Lhysette, then my dad took a picture of me and Lhysette. Then we went to the gym and gave our ticket to the one who were telling to check I have a ticket. When I gave the ticket she said that I can go in and after, I got my goody bay then we keep on dancing until 7:00 pm. After we went out and go home.

Birthday Celebration

Hello Readers,

Yesterday we celebrate my Dad's birthday. He invite his friends over and some of my friends. 

We have to wake up early so that we can cook the food that my Mum will cook. While my Mum was cooking, Me and my Dad clean the house. When my Mum was done cooking, we wait for the visitors to come. When some of the visitors came to our house we went to the park but before we went to the park we sing a happy birthday song to my Dad and eat. After we eat a few minutes, we went to the park. Then when we are almost going to our house, my friend join to play at the playground.


Then when it was night time one of our visitors came too. And all of us played hide and seek,basketball and pillow fight. When it was dark outside some of my friends and my Dad's friend went home. When all of our visitors went home I tidy up my room, then I change clothes and toothbrush. After I toothbrush I wached a little time of T.V then I went to bed. I really had fun playing with my friends and enjoying my Dad's birthday celebration.

Baking with Lhysette!

Hey Followers, 


Today I'm going to tell you about my baking's with my friend Lhysette. When my Dad said that Lhysette was coming to my house I was excited to see her.

When Lhysette was at my house, my Dad and Lhysette's Dad went to a basketball court. Then me Lhysette,my little brother and my Mum went to the park and go to the playground. After we went to the park we went home and then Lhysette and I go to the kitchen and got started to what we are going to bake.

First we bake the Banana cupcake.

Here is the ingredients:

Plain Flour
Baking Soda
Salt
Baking Powder
Sugar
Ripe Banana,Cavendish
Eggs 
Evaporated Milk
Vinegar
Water
Vanilla Extract
Oil

Toppings
Cashew Nuts,chopped

First Lhysette put all the dry ingredients and she mix it up. Then I put all the liquid ingredients in the stand mixer. Then I turn on the stand mixer and wait for 1 minute, after I have waited for 1 minute, Lhysette put carefully the dry ingredients to the stand mixer and turn it on. After we have mix all the ingredients in the stand mixer, we put the paper cups to the cupcake pan and scoop some of the batter to the paper cup. After we are done putting the first and the second tray with the batter my Mum put the both tray to the oven for 25 minutes while we are waiting, we saw that there was a little bit more batter in the  stand mixer bowl so we put the batter to the paper cups. When we were done putting the batter to the cupcake pan, we played outside. Lhysette said her sister like brownies and she wanted to bake it for her sister so I asked My Mum then she agree to bake again. So I told Lhysette we can bake again so we bake the Rocky Road  brownies.

So this is the ingredients of the Rocky Road Brownies:

Plain Flour
Cocoa Powder
salt
baking soda 
sugar 
Eggs 
Vanilla Flavor
Water
Salted Butter,melted
Oil

Toppings 
Cashew Nuts
Mini Marshmallow
Chocolate Chips or Chocolate Syrup

First I put all the dry ingredients to a bowl and Lhysette put all the liquid ingredients to the stand mixer. Then I put the dry ingredients to the stand mixer and turn it on. When it was all mixed, we put the batter to a rectangle pan and put the cashew nuts to the batter and wait for the cupcake to finish. When the cupcake was finish my Mum put the brownies to the oven for 25 minutes. When the brownies were finished we put the chocolate chips and the mini marshmallow to the brownies. I enjoy the day with my friend because I have teach someone how to bake and I love to teach someone to bake too.

So there's this muffins baking in an oven, And one muffin say to the other, Gee, its not in here. To the other muffin says, we're both going to die and no one will hear us scream!

Father's Day Celebration

Hey Readers,


Today I am going to tell you what did I do on Saturday night,at 12:00 am. We bought a father's day card for my Dad. I bought two cards one is for my little brother and the other one is for me. On Saturday night, when my Dad inside the room, my Mum told me that it's me and my little brother time to write something we like to say on my Dad's card. I took the card from my room and give my little brother his card,my Mum helped my little brother to write because his still young. 


My Mum told me to hurry up and put it back to my room as it's a surprise for Dad. When it was twelve, my mum wrote something in her phone gave it to me, so I read it  and my Mum told me to give the gift to my Dad so I wrote where should I put it she said in her room so I prepared the cards and chocolates in a bag and put it in the my Mum's room and covered it with a blanket. When we were going to bed, my Mum told me to just wait for Dad to come to the bed and surprise him. When Dad got to the bed he took out the blanket and sit down then he look at the back there was a bag so he open it and took out the cards and the chocolate out. When he open the card from my little brother and read it. Then he open mine he cried a little at the end.
Then he said Thank you to me and my little brother and went to bed.


On Sunday Morning...

My Mum said to my Dad that she sent a video to him and when my Dad saw the video he laugh a little,then we took a shower and went to Church. After we went to Church, we eat outside at the Wendy's and took some pictures together after we ate, we went to the mall and bonding together. After we went home and my Dad was happy because we spent the time together. My Dad took some pictures of us together. A happy and memorable celebrating father's day indeed!

Fun Baking

Hello Readers,

Today I am going to tell you what I did on Saturday night with my family. I have baked cheese cupcakes from my Goldilocks recipe book. First, I get my ingredients.

These were my ingredients for the cheese cupcake.

Plain Flour/Cake Flour 

Salt

Baking Powder

Unsalted butter,cubed and softened.

Sugar

Eggs

Vanilla Extract

Water

Grated Cheese

Topping

Grated Cheese

First I combined the Plain Flour because we don't have cake flour so instead I just put the Plain Flour and Cornstarch. I combine the Plain Flour and Cornstarch,Sugar, Salt and Baking Soda. I mixed it up together and set it a side. Then, put Unsalted butter,Eggs,Vanilla Extract and Water. My parents bought me a stand mixer so that it will be easy for me to mix and knead and  beat the ingredients.

After I mixed the ingredients, I put paper cups in the cupcake pan. My Dad help me put altogether the Plain Flour and Cornstarch. I combine the Plain Flour and Cornstarch,Sugar, Salt and Baking Soda altogether to the stand mixer. After my Dad mix all the ingredients, we put the batter to the cupcake pan with the paper cup on it. I put half of the batter in each paper cups, but one of them over floated so my Mum helped me and put another paper cup. After I was done, we still have a little bit more so we had to wait for the first batch. We put it into the oven for 20 minutes. So we put timer in the phone and wait. When the phone has alarmed my Mum had to took it out of the oven because you don't want it to be burn.  

We put more paper cups and put batter to it.

When it got cool down, I told my Dad that it was ready so he took one cupcake and eat it. He said it was yummy and not burned. He ate six cupcake and my little brother ate two cupcakes. My Mum ate one and she said that it was good and yummy. When the other one was done,my Mum took it out.

My Mum and Dad helped me so it was a fun family bonding. I like baking so much, and my next goal is to make more harder cupcake with an icing on it and to get better at it.

If you have not tried to bake tell your parents that you want to try to bake some cake and cupcake. But you have to try the easy ones first, when you have tried the easy ones then you can make harder ones.

Trip to Mt. Hutt

Hello Readers,

Today I am going to tell you about my trip to Mount Hutt. The trip was yesterday,we went with my friend Lhysette and her family.


First we had to wait for Lhysette and her family, when we saw her we follow her because it was our first time going there. So we had to follow the car,it was a two hour drive in the middle of the time, me and my family got a little hungry so we ate some snacks. When we were almost there some of the roads are beautiful and a little scary when you look down. My mum was scared to look down. 


When we got to Mount Hutt, we had to go up the mountain full of snow and ice with the car. We took some photos of the mountains while we are climbing the mountain. When we were at the top of the mountain, there was a car park and we parked our car . Before we left the car I wore gloves,beanie,scarf and a winter jacket. We got out out of the car, while me and Lhysette were wait for our parents we played snowball fight together. When our parents called us and we went to them, my family and Lhysette's family went to the bus so we can go to the top of the mountain.


When the bus stop, we went down to the bus, me ,my brother and Lhysette played with the snow and took some photo. A few minutes later we went inside to sign up for skiing. We don't have a skiing board,so we just play with the snow but before we got in, we borrowed some winter boots. Finally, we got inside and take the cable car so we can go on top of the Mount Hutt. When we reached the top of the mount Hutt, Me, my little brother and Lhysette played with the snow and we took some photos together. After we took some photos in the mountain we went down from the cable car again. After we went of the cable car, we stepped on the a pile of snow in the ground.we walked to the building and gave back the winter boots. After we went to the shop and bought some magnets. After we bought some magnets, we went back outside and took a little more photos before we went to the bus and go to our car. We drive to a picnic place were we will eat our lunch. After that we went home and said goodbye to my friend.

My Mum's Birthday

Kamusta, today I am going to tell you about my mum's birthday that was yesterday. On Saturday morning,when my mum woke up,we sang her a birthday song and my dad put an happy birthday song in his phone.  She was surprised and grateful when we sang her a happy birthday song. When she went to the toilet, my dad get the picture frame, some extra pictures and card. Then my dad called mum and we have to get to our positions to what we are going to do. When mum came she got surprise when she saw our gift to her. Then we went to hornby dress mart and by clothes for mum and the whole family. After, Margaret mahy playground.we had so much fun on the playground.We play at the giant slide and try different activities with my brother.It was so much fun that we ate ice cream and potato chips and mini donuts. After that play we had to go back at hornby mall we had to buy mum's birthday cake then we went home. When we were home mum had to do so many stuff. Mum prepare the filipino food which are our favorite for dinner and dad did the table set up and birthday party settings ( balloons,candles and cake). I had to take care of my little brother Joakin. Then we sang happy birthday to my mum then she blew the candle. Then after she blew the candle, we ate our dinner and celebrated mum's birthday at night but sadly I fall asleep but I had so much fun and  I am very happy that mum is happy all day and I am seeing her big smile always.
