2021 School Production!

 Hi Readers!

Welcome back to my blog post! Today I will be talking to you about this year's School Production. The Production was in Week 8 on Wednesday, it was a busy day most of the day was just rehersals.

We also had Morning Tea and Lunch Early. After Lunch, we got into our costumes and we put some final touches in our faces, hairs and then went to the church. As some people were getting their mic on, parents and gradparents were starting to come. The first show started a 1pm and the second show started at 6pm. After the first show was finished we all went home dressed up in our costumes and had dinner first before going back to school. The second and final show had lots of parents, the seats were all taken. We started the show and had lots of fun.

Dragon Days!

In today's post I will be sharing about this years School Production! 

This year, our play is called " Dragon Days ". Everyone in this school have a role to play, most of the juniors will be dancing while wearing a nice little costumes that the teachers have prepared. Some of the seniors have main roles. I am in the show and I will be one of the Cheerleaders. I have made a poster about the play, it tells you when and what time. If you can't come in the Matinee, there is another one in the Evening.

Winter Sports 2021

Welcome back to my Blog! Today I am going to be sharing to you about the Winter Sports that we had! 

Winter Sports is when you choose a Sport between Netball,Hockey,Soccer and Rugby. Then you will be separated into teams in the Sport you chose. After, you'll be playing with other schools. Everything is just for fun! 

This year, I chose Netball because I want to improve on my skills in Netball. This week's Friday, we had a nice play with a team in Hornby High. We had a coach that thought us good tactics. The scores were 6 or 7 - 3. It was amazing because we worked as a team.

Welcome back to my awesome blog! Today I'm going to tell you about this amazing book that I have read in the School Holidays. 

It's called....Smile! This book is about a girl called " Raina " she was in six grade, one night, when she and her friends were racing, she tripped and broke 2 tooths, she had to go to the Dentist and checked what happened to her teeth, the Dentist told her that one of her tooth went all the way up to her gums. So the Dentist put her to sleep and then when she woke up, she looked at the mirror a saw that her front tooth has a little cast on it. 

That's what I can tell you for now, so you better start reading it! This book is a comic book, this book is also a true story. The author of this book is Raina Telgemeier.

The Baby-Sitters Club Book!

Welcome back to my blog! Today I'm going to tell you about the book called " The Baby-Sitters Club " 

The book is about four girls, they are all besties and they want to make their own business together. They decided to run a Baby-Sitters Club! So they put posters everywhere in their school and some families started to call the club and they are now earning money! The book is a comic book so it's fun to read! There are six total books!

I have the number one to three! I am reading the number three one, and the four girls got into a big fight! I am looking forward to read all the other books too! I like to read this book because it's a comic book, it's interesting to read and it's motivating!

My Mum's Birthday!!!!

Hello Readers,

Welcome back to my blog post! Today I'm going to tell you about my Mum's birthday yesterday!

In the morning, when I woke up, I greeted my Mum a Happy Birthday to make up her day. While I was getting ready for school, I putted the card that my Dad bought for my Mum in my bag and then we went to school! At lunchtime, I wrote some messages to my Mum in the card!

When it was home time, I saw my parents infront of my little brother's classroom waiting for the both of us. Then we went home. My Dad took a half day from work so he could celebrate my Mum's birthday together. They went to a buffet and ate there for her birthday. They bought a Mars Cheesecake and an Ice Cream Cake! My Mum cooked some fried chicken like the ones from KFC! And we sang her the Happy Birthday song and then we ate! While we were eating me and my Dad grab the gifts for my Mum! And my Mum was surprised from our gifts too!The food was yum!

Jesus's Life After Baptism

Welcome back to my blog! Today I'm going to tell you about RE!

Today our task in RE is to make a Timeline or a Comic. I chose to do a comic for this task. We watched 3 videos about the Life after Jesus. Then I created a comic about Jesus's Life after his Baptism. 

One of the videos shows us about Jesus visiting the synagogue. They also shows as how Jesus was baptised. And how he went to the desert and where he was tempted by the devil for 40 days. And all of those days he ate nothing. The devil tempt him to worship the devil so Jesus could get whatever he wants. Jesus said " You shall worship the Lord your God. And him only you shall serve. "

The Baptism Of Jesus

Holy Spirit

Hello Readers,

Welcome back to my blog, today I'm going to share about the image of the Holy Spirit. 


Yesterday in RE ( Religious Education ), we had to choose a title and me and my partner chose " Psalm 27:1 " My partner was Carlos. We had to make a poster of the image of the title that we got. We drew the image of our title. The title tells us about who should we be afraid of and who should we fear? And the Lord holds our life and he is our light and salvation.

" The Lord is my light and salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life. Whom shall I be afraid? " - Psalm 27:1.

The image of this title is the light, so I drew a candle and some fires in our poster and I wrote the title on the top of our poster. Carlos coloured it in and he also made some stars, I also outlined the title. Then we were done.

How can I show the others that I can be the Holy Spirit?

I can be the Holy Spirit by showing the C.E.R.R values, and by showing kindness to others. Standing up for people, being supportive to others, making good choices and focusing on my work.

Tom Gates: A Tiny Bit Lucky

Today I'm going to tell you what I have been reading in school during our Silent Reading!

It's called.....Tom Gates: A Tiny Bit Lucky! I chose to read this book because it's so interesting and it's like an adventure book. The story is about a boy named Tom and about  his life. It's talking about his audition with his friends. And also he has a sister named Delia, she is also auditioning for the Rockwekly Bandbattle! Delia is an annoying, rude and quiet character. This book is also a series like the ' Diary of the Wimpy Kid ' This book also has a site! The site shows you all the series of the Tom Gates Book! 

I like this book because the pages has some cool font and some cool drawings in it! It also excites your feelings and makes you want to read it! And also how you can tell the character's feeling in the story. I totally recommend this book for you to read! When I finish this book, I'll read the other ones too! By the way, the author is..... Liz Pichon!!! The newest book is called " Tom Gates: Spectacular School Trip (Really...) ' I wonder what the story is about in that book!

25 Days Of Press Ups!

Kia Ora Readers,

Today I'm going to tell you about the challenge that has been going around this year. The challenge is called " 25 Press Up Challenge For 25 Days " 

My Dad's friend nominated him to do the challenge! So he did it! He did 25 Press Ups for 25 Days! He nominated some of our friends and relatives from other countries! 

How it works is: When you got nominated from the challenge, you have to do it then after you do your first day of Press Ups, you will nominate one of your friends or relatives. You do it until you are on Day 25! 

This is for the Mental Health Awareness Foundation.They created this challenge because it's about the suicide in Australia and to encourage positive Mental Health through a Physical activity. The 3,046 press-ups represents the number of te Australian's who died by suicide in 2018.

This is an awesome challenge because it helps you to stay fit and healthy.

Hagley Park!

Hows your week going? Today I'll talk about our trip to Hagley Park!

We went there in the afternoon, we went to the North of Hagley Park. I brought my phone so I could take pictures of myself and the family. We saw people walking their cute dogs too! We went to the big field and we took some amazing pictures! It was so big! It's like you own the whole field!

Cake Pops!

Konnichiwa readers,

How are you? Today I'll talk about the Cake Pops that I made during the weekends! 

I decided to make a Cake Pop because that was the only thing that I haven't bake yet. I chose Sally's Baking Addiction. Most of my Baking Recipes were from Sally's Baking Addiction, she has a lot of Baking recipes so check it out. I melted some Milk Chocolate, and we ran out of Sprinkles. So I just putted the melted Milk Chocolate.

Pink Clouds

Welcome back to my blog post and today I'll be telling you about the Pink Clouds that I saw last week! 

Last week while we were eating dinner, my Dad told me that the clouds were Pink so I checked it out! I took my phone and took some pictures of the Pink Clouds! The next morning, when I woke up, I saw the Clouds were Pink again but this time it was with the sun.

Jolly Hotdog!

Hello readers,

Welcome back to my blog post, today I'll be telling you about our breakfast last weekend! 

It's called Jolly Hotdog! It's just like a Hotdog with Hotdog  Buns, but it's with Ketchup and a lot of Cheese!!!!!!! My Mum and Dad putted some Onions with it. 

My Dad cooked the Hotdogs and Onions, he also toasted the Hotdog Buns a little bit so that it could be hot too. We cooked about 5 or 6 Hotdogs, toasted 5 Hotdog Buns, and fried the Onions. 

When it was all cooked, my Dad took a Hotdog Bun with a Hotdog, and putted Ketchup and a lot of Cheese on the top and then he putted it into the plate and putted it into my little brother's spot. ( Where he eats ) Then my Dad did the same for my one. But for my parents they putted Onions and Garlic Mustard on their Jolly Hotdog. Then my Dad took a picture of it. This Jolly Hotdog is made from Jollibee!!!

Parent Teacher Meeting!

Hello My Awesome Readers!

Welcome back to another part of my blog post! Today I am going to tell you about my Parent Teacher Meeting!

All the classes finished at 2:30 but it wasn't home time yet. All of kids from the school played at the playground but we were not allowed to play on the court because all of the classes were having a meeting and we don't want to disturb them. Your wondering why the class end fast, it's because teachers are going to be in parent meeting in 2:30 pm until 6pm. 

Me and my friends played at the playground and we also played all in tag with the other students there. We had so much time to play. When it was 3pm the teacher aids called us to go to our bags because it was time to go. We brought our bags and went home.  


On Tuesday at 5:00 pm to 5:10 pm, me and my Mum went to my school, then we looked at the window to see if someone was still there, so me and my Mum waited outside my classroom. I played a little bit outside the classroom while waiting for my meeting.


When the person before me was done with their meeting, it was my turn and I saw my teacher in the door. We went inside the classroom. My Mum and my Teacher talked about my learning and my goal for this coming up terms. It was just a quick meeting, because there was another student that will talk to the teacher so we left and went home!

Weathering!

Welcome back to another part of Topic!

On Tuesday, as a class we were learning about Earth Science. In the last blog, we did an experiment of sedimentary rock and if you haven't see the other Topic blog CHECK IT NOW!!!!

Now we are learning another part of Earth Science.  We are learning about 'Weathering' and how this effects rock. Weathering is like some kind of weather like sun, rain, hurricane and more. 

So we did another experiment but we did it in groups. My group was called the.... Spies! We had an Aluminium Tray and we put in half of the sand. Then we made two mountains and a river. We also put some small leaves and rocks, when we decorated it, one of our teammates got a cup, ruler and a pencil then we made a hole then we tape it to the ruler beside it.

After that, we put water into the cup and then we video it. Here is the video!

Our Earth Science Experiment!

                    WALT - Minerals and Rocks- Earth Science

Talofa everyone and again happy Samoan Language Week!

Welcome back to a new blog post! Today as you can see from the WALT and the Title!

So I'm going to tell you how we make our sedimentary rocks before we broke it. There was three ingredients that you need, and it's water, sand, and  plaster of Paris ( Chalk Limestone ) that's all you need!

Miss D had to mix it together and then we put it to a Cardboard bowl and then put the first layer of it. When it was the next day Miss D made another batch but she put a food colouring so at the end we can see the layers of it. After we put the other layers, we put shells and rocks. We filled up our cardboard bowl, we left it for I think more than a week! 

This week on Monday we had to be in partners and my partner is Jhrnylle, we did a video of dropping our sedimentary rocks and it was kind of messy when you dropped it. 

We had to drop it because we could see the layer and the fossils that we have put in. One thing that I realise that the food colouring is like you can't see it and it has disappear! I was also sad because we had to drop it.
