TECH!

Kia Ora!

Welcome back to my amazing blog! Today I am going to tell you about TECH!

Last Friday, at the start of school, we got ready for TECH. We putted the things that we needed for TECH. Then we lined up and went in the bus. When we were at Hornby High School, we went inside and then we waited for our teacher to come and get us. When our teacher came, we followed her to the classroom. Then she said that this was Computer Class. So I went to a seat that has a Computer and turned it on. She said that  we will be making our own calendars, and if we were done, our teacher will print it for us to bring home. I made mine and the calendar that I was making, is for next year. After about 40 minutes later, our teacher said to save it and go to our next class. 

Our next class was Wood Work, we lined up outside the Workshop and we waited for our Workshop teacher. When he came and he told us to put our bags down and go to the table. Then we took a pencil and he gave us a booklet that is about our Health and Safety. After we finished answering our booklet, it was Morning Tea. We played and ate a little bit and then we went back inside. 

We had to just decorate the wood and what design we were going to make, so I used the Coping Saw, the Back Saw and the Drill. First we made our draft, then we made our real copy. Then I designed the wood and I wrote the word " Mamba " because it reminds me of Kobe and Gigi. Then when we were done, our Workshop teacher took a photo of our work and then went back to school.

Jesus's Life After Baptism

Welcome back to my blog! Today I'm going to tell you about RE!

Today our task in RE is to make a Timeline or a Comic. I chose to do a comic for this task. We watched 3 videos about the Life after Jesus. Then I created a comic about Jesus's Life after his Baptism. 

One of the videos shows us about Jesus visiting the synagogue. They also shows as how Jesus was baptised. And how he went to the desert and where he was tempted by the devil for 40 days. And all of those days he ate nothing. The devil tempt him to worship the devil so Jesus could get whatever he wants. Jesus said " You shall worship the Lord your God. And him only you shall serve. "

Cake Pops!

Konnichiwa readers,

How are you? Today I'll talk about the Cake Pops that I made during the weekends! 

I decided to make a Cake Pop because that was the only thing that I haven't bake yet. I chose Sally's Baking Addiction. Most of my Baking Recipes were from Sally's Baking Addiction, she has a lot of Baking recipes so check it out. I melted some Milk Chocolate, and we ran out of Sprinkles. So I just putted the melted Milk Chocolate.

My Amazing Birthday Cake!

Hi Readers!

Today,I would like to share with you about my birthday cake.

On May 8th, my parents surprised me with a happy birthday song and a cake. I was very happy because I do not have any idea that they prepare a cake for me since it's very early morning and a school day. I also thought that my celebration will be on Saturday so I was thinking that I do not have a cake on the day itself.

My parents said, I will not have cake on Saturday because I have one already during my birthday. But they surprised me again! My Dad asked me to come with him to buy some stuff for my birthday at Pak n Save. I had noticed that we went to the other way. I asked him where we going and he just smile at me.

He go down from the car and get some piece of big box and handed to me. I open it and I was speechless. It's a Wonder woman cake! I was very happy and thankful to my parents!

Harold Challenge!

Crusaders Souvenirs!

Kia Ora everyone!

It was our first time to watch Crusader’s team.

We want to have some souvenirs for remembrance.

My family bought some stuff like beanie, hat, scarf and pin for my collections! We also got some free flags at the event.

After the game, we are so lucky to have a meet and greet with the awesome players! They also put their signatures to our cap and flags! Also, we also have photos with them!

The Crusader's player are very nice with their fans. They still say Hi and Hello with the Crusaders fans even they are very tired at their game. A lot of Crusaders fans are having a good time with them.

My Awesome Pin Collection!

Today, I would like to share with you about my pin collection.

Every trip we have, I tried to have some souvenirs for me to keep. I think some souvenirs that will be easy for me to keep and not space consuming.

So I decided to collect some pins.

I have pins from Orana Zoo, Air force Museum, Mt. Hutt, Mt. Cook, a Pokemon and a Crusaders one!

I collect and put it on a cap so it’s nice to see and tidy.

It’s fun to collect of pins, I got a Kiwi Fern from the Air Force Museum and also a cute Kiwi! I also got a peacock pin from the Orana Zoo. The Pokemon one is from the Philippines. The Crusaders one is from the Crusaders game on Saturday!

Having this pin makes me remember the place that we visited.

My Fabulous Art!!

We have been doing our art!


We started our art during the start of the term. Before we get to do our art, we put some tape on it but remember put it in the carpet then take it out because if you just put it in your paper and when you have finished your art, and you will take it out, it will rip off easily.


Then after we put our tape we plan what we are going to to our paper. So after that, it's time to get started!!! 


I did a galaxy, a salt, a water colour sunset, a glad wrap trick and a masking tape trick and it was so fun when you do every techniques! Here is my art!

Coming Activities This Week!

Hi Reader’s,

Today, I would like to tell you some of our upcoming activities at school.

I am very excited to join our road patrol training. Since I started my year 5 I am looking forward to be part of road patroller but I learned that only Year 6 students will have this task.

I am also part of Health Leader’s Team. Yesterday, I update some of the activities for health activities on my chrome book. I know I will learn a lot for being part of road patrol and health leaders.

We will also have some basketball game on Wednesday. So it will be another fun day!

The Highlights Of The Book Called " The 39 Clues ( Nowhere To Run ) "

Today I will tell you the highlights of the book called " The 39 Clues ( Nowhere to Run ) ".


The author of the book is Jude Watson, when you open the book on the left side of the book has 6 cards on it you have to collect it so you could play the game and do your mission.


On the back of the book it says that : The Cahill family has a secret. For five hundred years, they have guarded the 39 clues. The 39 ingredients in a serum that transforms whomever takes it into the most powerful person on earth. If the serum got into the wrong hands, the disaster would rock the world. So certain Cahills have always made it their mission to keep the serum safe, buried, locked away. Until now.

13 year old Dan Cahill and his older sister, Amy, are the latest guardians of the Clues. They think they've done everything right, but a tiny mistake leads to catastrophe. The serum is missing and Dan and Amy have to get it back and stop who stole it... before it's game over. For Everyone.

A Bracelet From My Little Brother!!!

Malo and Talofa Everyone,


Today after school in the car my little brother told me he got a surprise for me that e made and when we were at home, he gave me his first ever memory to me which was a bracelet that he made at school.


I was so happy because it was the first memory thing that he gave to me, and it was beautiful and perfect for me.

It's kind of simple but for me it's so precious and very special to me.

Last and Final Trip...

Hey Readers,


Today was the last day of our EOTC week, and it was the big trekkers day out and means it will also include the Year 4s. We went to Halswell Pool and we went Ice Skating, We had three buses because we are a lot so that's why we include another bus, first we went to the Halswell pool.


We went to the changing rooms and got change to our swimsuits and went to the swimming pool, after an hour we got out of the pool and got change to our clothes and eat our morning tea. After we eat our teachers told us one by one what was our size then we made a line and we to the bus. While we are waiting me and my friends play together, when we were in the Ice Skating place it was cold inside and we had listen to the instruction's and then we got our purple ticket so that we can get our helmet and skates. 


When we got our stuffs that we need, we wear it and start to ice skate, it was my first time so I have to hold on to the walls so I won't fall. When I already know how to do it, I didn't touch the walls anymore so I went a little bit far to the wall and I fell and fell but it is okay. We went out because it was time to go so we gave back our helmets and skates back and we had lots and lots of fun. When went to the bus and went back to school.

Technology!!!

W.A.L.T design and recreate the food packaging that will reduce waste. 

Hello Readers, today in our Topic time we did "Technology" and we were talking about all of the plastic that can't recycle anymore. And we have one problem together, and here is our problem.

This is our problem together: All the company's that were all making in their packaging was made out of plastic like Ziploc Bags, Plastic Containers, Plastic Bags and more.

Now we re gonna recreate the plastic into a recycled one. I am gonna recreate a Ziploc bag. We made our own planning for our design and we must have to complete this task until the end of term. We had a choice to plan in a google drawing or in a paper, I chose the paper so it's easy to plan and put in our own ideas.

The Author of ( Diary of the Wimpy Kid)

Today I am going to tell you some facts about Jeff Kinney. He is one of my favourite Authors, and the book that he writes is about the "Diary of the Wimpy Kid".


Here is a little bit about him, if you don't really know anything about him. 📕📕📕


He is an American cartoonist in America, he is an producer and author of children's books, including the Diary of the Wimpy Kid book series. He also assign the creator of the child-oriented website called "Poptropica".



Jeff Kinney didn't grow up wanting to be a children's author. His dream was able to become a newspaper cartoonist, but he wasn't able to get his comic strips syndicated. The first Diary of the Wimpy Kid book was published on 2007, and he became an instant bestseller.

New Car!!!

On Monday, My dad said that we are going to change our car to a smaller car for my mum use. And our big car (Toretto) is going to be back to where he was. When it was the last day with Toretto, I was so upset that we are going to change him into a smaller one and I cried.


It was after school my when my dad said that we are going to change Toretto. And I got very upset on that time. And when we got our new car I got so surprised and we took a ride of it the next day. My dad asked what should we name it? Then we searched up in google and my dad search " The Fast and the Furious ". My dad said what if we named it Leticia or Letty aka Mrs. Alpha. 

Our family is a big fan of the Fast and the Furious movies. We like all the cast, from Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Paul Walker-RIP (Brian O' Conner), Leticia Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez) and Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster). But me I like Gisele Yashar (Gal Gadot) who played the role of Wonder Woman also. That's why we decided to use Leticia as our new car name.

Then the next day, we went to school with Leticia and I was so happy with my new car too. Hopefully soon we can get car for my Dad. The car name will remain Toretto.
