Amazing Sunday!

Hola Readers!

Welcome back to my blog post! We went to... Timezone in Sunday!

On Sunday morning my Dad said that me, my little brother and my Mum will go to Timezone together. My Dad didn't join us because he said he was going to the Gym. 

Before we went to Timezone, we had to do a couple of things in the Hub Hornby. First, we went to iRazor for my little brother's haircut. We went there because my little brother's hair was too long. After we went to iRazor, we went to the grocery store and bought some food. Me and my little brother was getting the things that we need to buy and putting it in the cart. When we were done, we put all our groceries in the back of our car. We went to the Gym and told to my Dad that we were done, so he said okay you can go to Timezone now. We went to Timezone and we bought a card so we could play all the games there! 



We had so much fun there and when we were done playing, all of us went to the Warehouse and bought my little brother's lunch bag for school. He bought a Spiderman lunchbox and also a lunchbox for him and we bought him a water bottle too!

Turning Fractions To Decimals!

Sup Guys!

Today I am going to post about my Maths for this Term! I you like Maths you could have been answered all of these questions easily!

We are learning to...

For the first week, Miss D put us in partners so we could figure out the questions that she made for us. A Bracelet From My Little Brother!!!

Malo and Talofa Everyone,


Today after school in the car my little brother told me he got a surprise for me that e made and when we were at home, he gave me his first ever memory to me which was a bracelet that he made at school.


I was so happy because it was the first memory thing that he gave to me, and it was beautiful and perfect for me.

It's kind of simple but for me it's so precious and very special to me.

Last Turbo Touch...

Hello Followers,



It was the last day of our Turbo Touch Practice and we had lot of fun with our coach, " Logan " he teaches us how to play Touch in a proper way.


We had a game, Team Red Vs Team Blue, we played and Team Blue win but it is okay. When it was time to go, my group were so upset because it was our last session with Logan but of all of the practice, I already know how to win and play the proper way.

Last and Final Trip...

Hey Readers,


Today was the last day of our EOTC week, and it was the big trekkers day out and means it will also include the Year 4s. We went to Halswell Pool and we went Ice Skating, We had three buses because we are a lot so that's why we include another bus, first we went to the Halswell pool.


We went to the changing rooms and got change to our swimsuits and went to the swimming pool, after an hour we got out of the pool and got change to our clothes and eat our morning tea. After we eat our teachers told us one by one what was our size then we made a line and we to the bus. While we are waiting me and my friends play together, when we were in the Ice Skating place it was cold inside and we had listen to the instruction's and then we got our purple ticket so that we can get our helmet and skates. 


When we got our stuffs that we need, we wear it and start to ice skate, it was my first time so I have to hold on to the walls so I won't fall. When I already know how to do it, I didn't touch the walls anymore so I went a little bit far to the wall and I fell and fell but it is okay. We went out because it was time to go so we gave back our helmets and skates back and we had lots and lots of fun. When went to the bus and went back to school.

Aderanline Forest!

Hello Readers,

Today in our day we went to the Aderanline Forest and I am so proud of myself because it was so scary but at least I have tried my personal best!


We went to the bus and while we were waiting to reach our destination, we sing, and we have reach there, we had some instruction's before we go. Then we put gears on our body so that we won't fall. After we check our heights first then we went to level 1 and when the level 1 had finish, I went to level 2 my friends said that they won't go because it's starting to get scary but my teacher said to just try their best so they went. 

When I was nearly there I want come down but my teacher said that I can do it so I tried and I did it and I had finish level 2, I didn't go to level three because it's gonna get higher and higher and my teacher said she was so proud of me because I did my my personal best and she was so happy.


After that we went to the play ground while the others are still going, me and my friends went to the playground and it was so fun. We had play there for half and Hour. Then we went to the bus and sing lots of songs again and we back to school.

Surfing!

Hello Readers,


Today in our EOTC week we are gonna go Surfing and it was my first time to Surf.


So we went to the bus and waited until our destination, while we are on the bus siting on the seats, we were singing, when we got to our destination, we said thank you to the bus driver and had two lines.

We got separated into two groups and me and my friends were in the same group and we were in group 2, and group 1 start first then us group 2. While we are waiting our teacher gave us some important instruction's and we have to listen carefully the instruction's. 

While the other group was surfing, we ate our morning tea and after we eat, we play. Then our teacher said to line up and she said we will go inside a cave and we will explore, and after we went to see the beautiful view. Then we went back to where we were. 

When it was lunch, we had sausage sizzle and it was a yum! Then our teacher said it was our turn to surf so we put our wet suits on and then we went surfing!


After an hour, we got change and went to the bus to school.

Quail Island...

Hey Readers,


Today we went to the Quail Island and that was our first trip. We went to a bus and went to like a ferry place so that you can go to the Island. 


When we went to the Ferry we had a Captain o we won't get lost and he said that we can go outside and check the views. When we got to Quail Island, We went hiking and had ate our morning tea. After we had our morning tea, we left our bags to a safe place and continue our hiking.


When we are half way to so of the mountains, some of our teachers told us some History in the Island it was pretty scary there because we saw a graveyard in the mountains.

When it was our lunch we went back to the place where our bags were and ate our lunch.  We went to play after we eat and we deep our feet to the ocean and find some rocks that we can bring home. After we play, we went back to ferry and we to the bus again and went back to our school.

SLJ Last Lesson...

Today is the last day of our SLJ Practice, We have to make a slideshow or a Google Drawing. I chose Slideshow because it's much more easier to tell what you have learnt.


We went to a google doc and there is some links that is attached to our country. My country is Canada and I clicked Canada and I chose a famous place in Canada which was the Lake Louise. I have to search facts about the Lake Louise. Then I made three more which is the " Petronas Towers in Malaysia, Himeji Castle in Japan and the Great Barriers Reef in Australia".

Next Up Is EOTC Week!!!!

Kia Ora Readers,


Guess What??? This week and next week we have " EOTC week!!! " if you don't know what that stands for it's ( Education Outside The Classroom) I can wait guys!. It's on Thursday, Friday and Monday and Tuesday.


On this Thursday, we are going to " Quail Island " maybe we are gonna swim there and take lots of pictures too! Then on Friday, we are going to do Surfing, we will learn how to surf. Next week on Monday we are going to go to Adrenaline Forest in Spencer Park and that actives looks like scary and interesting!.

 On Tuesday next week, we are going to Jelly Park and Ice skating, but then out teacher said that we are just going to the Halswell pool because there was some problems in the Jelly park so our teachers just change it to Halswell Pool and Ice Skating. 

I'm so excited for the EOTC week!!!. I will give you guys some update to our EOTC week in the next blog post okay?

Summer Learning Journey Lesson Four...

Today I will be carrying on in my Summer Learning Journey. In the " SLJ " we are gonna watch a video but it is from the that we had chose from Lesson One.



Here are some of the Notes that had happen to the video.

Notes:

The Title of the video is " Caillou ".
The story is " Caillou's Favourite Plate ".
All the Main Characters are Caillou,his Mum, His Cat " Gilbert and his little sister " Rosie" and His Dad.
The part about was that Rosie took Caillou's favourite plate but his Dad gave the plate to Caillou.
My favourite part of the Episode is when Rosie had found Caillou's favourite plate.
What part I don't like in the full Episode is when Caillou can't find his favourite plate.
I will rate it 5 out of 5.

" On 11am on 11 November this year, Aotearoa New Zealand. On that 100 years ago, after 4 years of brutal conflict war finally gave away to peace. ".


This is my own one.

On 11:00 am, in the 11th of November this year, the Aotearoa had marked the armistice that ended the First World War in 1918.

What A Fun Day!!!

Today at school in the afternoon we had fun day. I have chose my activities that I want, it is the  Ball Rush from the Health Team and we had fun playing different kinds of games like " Ball Rush, Octopus and Soccer.


When we are on the way to my class, we saw the CANTERBURY RAMS!!! and I let them sign both of my hand and I was so amazed and happy that I got to sign them on both of my hand. When we got back at our class I saw some of my friends had lots and lots of sign in their T - Shirt because it was also MUFTI - day.

Technology!!!

W.A.L.T design and recreate the food packaging that will reduce waste. 

Hello Readers, today in our Topic time we did "Technology" and we were talking about all of the plastic that can't recycle anymore. And we have one problem together, and here is our problem.

This is our problem together: All the company's that were all making in their packaging was made out of plastic like Ziploc Bags, Plastic Containers, Plastic Bags and more.

Now we re gonna recreate the plastic into a recycled one. I am gonna recreate a Ziploc bag. We made our own planning for our design and we must have to complete this task until the end of term. We had a choice to plan in a google drawing or in a paper, I chose the paper so it's easy to plan and put in our own ideas.
