SLJ Last Lesson...

Mabuhay Bloggers, Family's, Friends and Followers/Readers,

Today is the last day of our SLJ Practice, We have to make a slideshow or a Google Drawing. I chose Slideshow because it's much more easier to tell what you have learnt.

We went to a google doc and there is some links that is attached to our country. My country is Canada and I clicked Canada and I chose a famous place in Canada which was the Lake Louise. I have to search facts about the Lake Louise. Then I made three more which is the " Petronas Towers in Malaysia, Himeji Castle in Japan and the Great Barriers Reef in Australia".

Here is my Slideshow:

  2. Kia ora Celine,

My name is Georgia and I am the Kaikohekohe (Northland) Cluster Manager for the Summer Learning Journey programme. I have been looking at some of the practice activities you and your classmates have been completing and I am so impressed! You have put in a lot of effort and I love that you used a slideshow to share your information about Canada.

One of your facts said that it's a 10 minute drive to Lake Louise, could you tell me where you begin in order to be 10 minutes drive away from the Lake? I would really love to visit Canada one day and learn to ski. Have you had the chance to ski or snowboard before?

Ka pai Celine, keep up the great work!
    Cheers, Georgia

    1. Hi Georgia,

Thank you for reading my blog.

Regarding the Lake Louise "10 minutes drive",it's the accommodation is just nearby the Lake.Plenty of hotels/inn that the visitor can stay.

No, I didn't ski or snowboard before but I have seen some people do ski's in Mt Hutt. How about you, have you done skiing before and have you been to Canada or maybe different countries?

Thank you Georgia for asking me that question because it was really a good one, if you didn't comment and ask me that question, some of my readers would get confused with that.

Than you again for commenting on this blog and I am looking forward to see a reply from you and more comments from you in my other blog posts, Thank you bye!
