Hello Readers,
This morning I am going to do Activity 2 of week ones activities.
And I am going to talk about my hometown and what was special about it.
I just made a D.L.O about my hometown and what was special about it.
Here was the link of my D.L.O : My Hometown
Thank you for reading this blog post and have a great day bye!
Magandang hapon, Celine!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Mikey and I am a part of the Summer Learning Journey team. I will be commenting on some of your blog posts in the coming weeks, and I look forward to getting to know you and learning about the wonderful world we live in :)
The Philippines, WOW! Growing up there must have been quite different to living here in New Zealand. Do you miss it at all? When did you and your family move to New Zealand? I'm so sorry to hear about the awful flood. I hope that your family are safe. When was the last time you visited the Philippines? What were your favourite things to do there growing up? I grew up in a small town in Northland called Kororāreka (Russell). It's a 3 and a half hour drive from where I live now (Auckland) but I try and go back as often as I can. It's one of my favourite places in the world.
You've made a great start to your Summer Learning Journey blog, Celine. I'm super impressed with the colourful way you've chosen to display your post. Just remember to tell us where you got your images from, OK? It's important to mention who/where the pictures you have used have come from. Here's a link to help you do that in your future blog posts:

Hi Celine,
DeleteWow! So you haven't been in New Zealand for very long at all. How are you finding it so far?
Birthdays are pretty special, aren't they? I think some of my favourite times would be celebrating birthdays and other special occasions with my family too. Does your family have any special Christmas traditions?
Meri Kirihimete (Merry Christmas) Celine!
All the best,
Mikey :)

Merry Christmas Mikey!
Celine :)
Mōrena Celine,
DeleteHappy New Year! :)
What I mean by 'traditions' is things you and your family do every year on or around Christmas Day - little things that make the day extra special for you :) For example, my family have a big Christmas lunch and we HAVE to have a Christmas ham. Otherwise it just doesn't feel like Christmas for us. Does your family do anything like that?
I hope you had a lovely Christmas and are enjoying your summer holiday :)
Blog ya later!
Mikey
