Hello Readers,
Today it's Day 2 of my SLJ activities and it means that It is my second day of the activity. The title of the second day is called the " Forest Life ". I will be doing my first activity which is " Giants Among Us ", and it is about the a forest that a thousands of people visit every year and our task is to make a D.L.O and write like would you go to a forest or would you not. That's what I am going to say but you can take look on my D.L.O, and it is about weather you go or you would not go.
Take a look at my D.L.O.
Thank you for reading this blog post and have a great day bye!
Hello again Celine,
ReplyDeleteWell done on creating this amazing post to share your thoughts on whether you want to visit Tāne Mahuta or not. I am delighted to hear that you are willing to visit the Waipoua Forest to see this humongous tree.
Did you know that this tree is approximately 2,000 years old? That means, if we were to read and count its growth rings, it should add up to 2,000! I also found out from another student's blog that 'Tāne Mahuta' is also a name of a Maori god - the god of forests and birds. Isn't this pretty cool?
I think your teachers would love to hear the history of Tāne Mahuta tree. If you do ever get a chance to visit, you should definitely write a blog post about it!
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas Celine and I'm looking forward to reading more of your blog posts! :)
Talk soon,
Susie
